From your first breath-hold to deeper waters — Our courses are safe, light-hearted and with a touch of Gozitan flavour.

What Freediving Means Here

Before depth, there is breath.
Before performance, there is relaxation.

Freediving here is a meditative, almost yogic practice. The depth comes later — and only when the body and mind are ready for it.

Every session begins with breathing, stillness and a decision to slow down. That's the real work. What happens underwater is just the result.

New to Freediving?

You don't need to be brave.
You need to be curious.

Curiosity is the only thing you need to bring. We'll meet you exactly where you are — whether you've never held your breath underwater or just want to see what this is about. No experience, no expectations, no pressure to be anything other than ready to learn.

Breathing & Relaxation

Every session begins with breathing, stillness and a decision to slow down. That's the real work. What happens underwater is the result.

Calm Progression

No timelines, no pressure. Each step only happens when you feel ready. Your pace, not the programme's.

Safety Basics & Buddy Awareness

Buddy protocols, surface signals, equalisation pressure — explained clearly, practised carefully, from day one. Never rushed.

Ego-Free Environment

Questions are welcome. Hesitation is respected. Nobody here is competing. We're all just in the water together.

Open Water Confidence

Your first controlled breath-hold in a calm, supported environment. We make sure you arrive there ready — not surprised.

Ready to Start?

Find your level. Go from there.

Below are the pathways we offer, starting from a half day discovery session to our standard 3-day courses. Follow the rope down and select your level.

Certification Path

0 M

Discover Freediving

The crash course - a half-day introduction for anyone curious about freediving. Theory, breathing and your first open-water session. No prerequisites beyond the ability to swim.

10 M

Wave 1 / Beginner

Plenty of open water practice. We touch upon breathing, relaxation, mindfulness, skills safety and buddy awareness. Your first certification.

20 M

Wave 2 / Advanced

One step closer to dolphin. We go deeper into relaxation, free-fall, longer breath-hold and the physics of freediving.

30 M

Master level

You’re comfortable at 30m. Get ready for deep equalisation, diving below residual volume and training for depth.

Not sure which level fits you? Tell us where you're starting from and we'll help you find the right entry point.

Two Paths, One Water

RAID or Molchanovs?
Here's the honest difference.

We offer two certification paths at our centre: Raid and Molchanovs. Raid is the wise turtle, prioritising safety and with ocean experience not just limited to freediving. Molchanovs is the ambitious dolphin, coming in with new research in breathing and mental preparation.

Relaxation-first. Safety-systems strong.

Relaxation-first methodology with a strong emphasis on buddy awareness and rescue skills. Well-suited to divers who prioritise safety systems alongside depth progression. Broadly recognised for recreational freediving worldwide.

The Wave system. Breathwork at its core.

Built around breathwork, a philosophical approach and structured depth progression. More meditative in its framework — depth comes as a result of internal work, not just technique. Developed by world record holder Alexey Molchanov.

Both paths are internationally recognised and both are transferable if you decide to switch in the future. Kindly let us know if you have a preference or any questions re pathway.

New to Freediving?

Plenty to explore around these islands.

We have an abundance of dive-sites to explore between the islands. From the underwater architecture of Gozo, to Comino’s crystal waters and Malta’s deep wrecks.. the conditions decide for us.

One-to-One Coaching

Technique refinement and personalised session planning.

Depth Training

Structured progression sessions with conditions briefing and planned target depths.

Wreck & Adventure Diving

Natural arches, reef walls, caves and the sunken vessels at Cirkewwa.

Curious about spearfishing?

A lot of experienced freedivers are. It's a natural next step — patience, fish knowledge and selective technique. We offer cross-over sessions for certified freedivers ready to explore it.

Gozo · Comino · Cirkewwa

Three islands. Dozens of sites.
One local guide.

Site selection depends on your experience in the water. Rest assured, we will only take you to where you can comfortably enjoy!

Primary training ground: GOzo

The Blue Hole and Inland Sea at Dwejra are among the most recognised sites in the Mediterranean — spectacular topography and clear water at depths that suit most certification levels. Reef walls, coral gardens and sheltered bays for calmer sessions.

Sheltered clear-water dives: Comino

A short crossing for sheltered, clear-water dives. Excellent for beginner confidence sessions and photographers. Less exposed to wind on most headings.

Wreck Diving: Cirkewwa

Three sunken ferries, purposely sunk as artificial reef dive sites. Ideal for wreck exploration and intermediate depth work. Accessible and predictably sheltered.

Site selection is level-matched. We don't send beginners to deep wall sites. We don't take anyone out when conditions aren't right. This isn't a rule — it's a habit.
